This may be the world's worst README. It'll get better. The packages found here are for i386 Debian Squeeze. They were made from Debian sources using patches to provide Ububtu-like font rendering. The file build-libcairo2.sh was used to build these packages. I made these for my own use and provide them here in case they might be useful to others. Use at your own risk. Download all the *.deb files into a directory and install all of them at the same time (# dpkg -i *.deb). Note that libcairo2-dev might not install because of unmet dependencies. If this is the case, then you probably don't really need this package as it's used for building libcairo2. However, you might want this in the future, so working out the dependency issue now might not be such a bad idea. In addition to these packages, you will need to either install some files and links in /etc/fonts and/or create/modify ~/.fonts.config. These will be documented more completely at a later time.
